Para Cook:
1. The candidate must have completed matriculation from a school/institution located in Himachal Pradesh. Bonafide Himachalis are not required to have passed 10th grade at a Himachali school.
2. The candidate should have a degree or diploma in any trade, from a government approved Hotel Management Institute/Institute of Hotel Management/Food Production Institute. Or 05 (five) years of experience in catering/cooking from any Govt. Or Private Institution.
Para Helper:
The candidate must have completed matriculation from a recognized Board/University by the HP/Centre Govt.
Jal Shakti Vibhag Thanakalan Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
The candidate is eligible to apply for a Para Cook or Para Helper position if:
a.) Citizens of India
b.) Bonafide Himachali
c.) Having a sound mind.
d.) The candidate’s family members should not be employed by any government PSU/Board.
e.) Never having been involved in any criminal act.
f.) Must be medically fit to carry out duties.
g.) Permanent resident of Jai Shakti Circle Una District Una.
Jal Shakti Vibhag Thanakalan Recruitment 2025: Documents to be attached with the application form:
a.) A Matriculation Examination from a School/Institution located within HP.
b.) A degree/diploma in any trade awarded by a government-approved Hotel Management Institute/Institute of Hotel Management/Food Production Institute, or a minimum of 05 (Five years) experience in cooking/catering from any Govt. Or Private Institution.
c.) A bonafide Himachali certificate.
d.) A certificate stating that no family members of the candidates should hold any government, PSU or board job.
e.) Character Certificate

g.) BPL Certificate no later than six months.
